President Igor Dodon meets Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin
The Moldovan Head of State, Igor Dodon, meets today, January 17th, in Moscow with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The two officials will discuss bilateral relations and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The agenda also includes meetings with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the Russian Patriarch, Kiril.
Igor Dodon will also meet with Alexei Miller, the Chairman of the Board of the company "Gazprom".
For Wednesday, January 18th, a meeting is scheduled with the Moldovans who work in Russia.
This is the first official visit abroad of Igor Dodon as president.
The delegation left for Moscow on Monday, January 16th. The delegation is made up of leader of Socialists Zinaida Grecianii, president’s advisor on foreign relations Andrei Neguta, bashkan of Gagauzia Irina Vlah, president’s advisor on reintegration Vasili Sova, president’s political advisor, spokesman Ion Ceban etc.
