President of Parliament, Andrian Candu held meeting with European Parliament delegation
Today, Andrian Candu, the President of the Parliament held a meeting with the MEPs delectation of the Foreign Affairs and Commission for Budgets.
In the context of the elections, at the MEPs, Andrian Candu said that the Constitution will be fined in order to guarantee the European path of the country.
"Some speak about the thing that we transform the European Integration aspiration is a successful project. We don't complain and don't criticize the EU. The duties are important, to provide a good evolution of the things. All the decisions have some ideas that guided it. When we make a decision, we are based on what does the citizens want", said Andrian Candu.
The President of the Parliament presented the actions taken by the authorities for implementing the responsibilities for the EU and Moldovan citizens. In particular, Andrian Candu talked about the reforms, among which, the justice, bank system, economic growth, bureaucracy, cooperation with Gagauzia, development of mass media and fight against corruption.
Referring to the implementation of the laws, the President mentioned that a priority for the Parliament is the Parliamentary control. The hearing, parliamentary control and the analyze of the important subject are very important for the deputies. At the same time, the Parliamentary Council for European Integration wants to fulfill the responsibilities of the Association Agreement.
The delegation of the European Parliament paid a visit to Moldova between April 2 and 6. 2018, in order to evaluate the implementation level of the Association Agreement with the EU. The results of the documentation mission in Republic of Moldova will be reported by the Commission for Foreign Affairs, leaded by Liucija Andrikiene and the Budget Commission leaded by Siegfried Muresan.
