PRESIDENTIAL RUNOFF: Moldovan citizens living in Romania choose their president
Moldovan citizens are choosing today their president. Thus, the moldovans living in Romania have 11 polling stations set up in Bucharest, Iasi, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Galati, Constanta, Brasov, Bacau, Suceava, and Craiova.
In Iasi Moldovans can vote at the headquarters of the Consulate. They are not indifferent and go to vote because they care for Moldova.
PUBLIKA.MD mentions that the Moldovan students studying in Romania, and the Moldovan citizens living in other European countries have created special Facebook pages through which they are mobilizing the citizens to go to vote in the presidential runoff.
Many moldovan youngsters living in Iasi opened a group on Facebook - "Bessarabians from Iasi are choosing their president", in order to mobilize the Moldovan citizens to go to vote, after which in the first round of presidential elections in Iasi voted only 1,400 persons.
