Premier Pavel Filip broached the topic of a protest rumored to be prepared by Railway (CFM) employees for March 11, at today’s sitting of the Cabinet.
He asked the Transport Ministry for maximum responsibility in considering the problems of the CFM state-owned enterprise, and for a plan to overcome the situation.
Filip underscored it was necessary to use international financial tools to restructure the CFM, what would improve the quality of services.
“I expect a very serious approach. You must communicate with the ones from Calea Ferată. They must understand we have a restructuring plan and these problems will be solved in time,” the Prime Minister said.
