Prime Minister Pavel Filip attended a ceremony commemorating the fallen in the battles for the defense of Moldova’s independence and territorial integrity (1992).

"You are a moral pillar, and Moldova needs such moral pillars. Our state’s independence is sprinkled with you blood and it’s our duty to make true the dream you fought for and uniting us: building a prosperous and democratic Moldova," Pavel Filip said.

He assured the veterans they would further benefit from the state’s support that he was personally monitoring to better their social protection.
