Prime Minister Pavel Filip meets German Ambassador on farewell visit
Prime Minister Pavel Filip has received the German Ambassador to Moldova, Ulrike Knotz, as she is ending her mission to Chișinău.
"We’ve managed jointly to accomplish many nice projects, as the kindergarten in Călărași. It’s through these concrete things that people directly perceive what means to have relations with the European Union and especially with Germany," Pavel Filip stated.
Pavel Filip has appreciated Germany’s financial support and expertise in setting up the Reform Implementing Center.
Ulrike Knotz has said her country will further back up Moldova in unfolding reforms: "It’s not a matter of geopolitics, it’s willing to help our neighbors and offer better conditions to citizens. You have a professional team, which has triggered a lot of complex reforms and I am glad we can contribute to their implementation."
"I thank you for jointly managing to unlock the sessions in the 5+2 format. The Cabinet’s priority is to offer comfort to inhabitants in the eastern districts by insuring free traveling, recognition of education diplomas and other concrete issues," said Pavel Filip referring to the Transnistrian settlement.
