Prime-Minister Pavel Filip, who has an official visit in Belarus, visited the MAZ Company, from where Chisinau City Hall will buy 50 buses. Until they will come to Chisinau streets,
the Prime Minister will bring a miniature bus, which he received from the director of the Company. The buses will be assembled in Chisinau, as well as the trolleybuses. This will allow the vehicle price to be much lower.
"Buses and cars that are produced at this plant have, at my point of view, reached a fairly high level, at a level that is absolutely competitive with those produced in the EU. I think that in terms of price and quality is a very good offer", said Pavel Filip.
Also from the MAZ Company the City Hall also purchased 12 high performance vehicles for garbage disposal. The MAZ company delivers technology in over 50 countries. Yesterday, the Prime Minister went to the trolleybus factory. Only in the last five years, 120 trolleybuses brought from Belarus have been assembled in Moldova.
