The Government has approved a new project, according to which divorces will be able to be done at any notary. The request sample will be soon approved my Justice Ministry.

"For example if the spouses can decide themselves how to distribute the goods acquired while being married, there is no need for the court to interfere, therefore a notary will be able to break the ties" Minister of Justice, Vladimir Cebotari said.

At the same time, through this request at the notary, the spouses will be able to decide by themselves, under friendly terms, who will take care of the children and who will pay for child support. This project also foresees the notary to be given the power to register the transactions made when selling or purchasing real estate. The document will be voted at the Parliament and if approved, implemented.
