Projects funded by JICA in Republic of Moldova were discussed at Chisinau
The ongoing and planned projects of the Japanese Agency for International Cooperation (JICA) with the Republic of Moldova were discussed at the meeting of State Secretary Tatiana Molcean with Deputy Director of the Agency, Yoko Takebayashi.
Speaking about the cooperation priorities between the Republic of Moldova and Japan, the officials evoked excellent bilateral relations. In this way, Tatiana Molcean expressed her conviction that the positive dynamics of the relations between the two countries and their potential on different dimensions are a solid basis for their further diversification.
The Moldovan official thanked the interlocutor for Japan's valuable contribution to the development of various sectors of the Republic of Moldova, through technical assistance projects, visits and exchange of experience in many fields, funded by JICA.
In turn, Yoko Takebayashi mentioned the good implementation of several JICA-funded assistance projects in the Republic of Moldova, especially in areas such as agriculture and health.
In the future, JICA plans to initiate new projects for Moldovan institutions.
