Property tax must be paid by August 15 at post office, banks, online payment www.mpay.gov.md or https://servicii.fisc.md/fisaimobilului.aspx. 

Pensioners are exempt from this tax. 

If citizens don't pay the tax bill by August 15, they have to pay failure-to-pay penalty (0.03% for each day). 

According to data from the State Tax Service, 80% of taxpayers paid the tax until the end of June and thus benefited from a 15% reduction in cost. It seems that this is the last time Moldovans can benefit from this facility. The Government action plan for 2019-2020 provides for the exclusion of this reduction.

The Government also proposes the only due date for tax payment - September 30 next year. 

The Finance Ministry has yet to commented on this initiative.
