Employees of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations of the MIA continue to install smoke detectors in people's homes. According to them, up to now, over 20 families in Chiscareni District have been able to benefit from detectors that will prevent both fire risks and carbon monoxide poisoning.
The installations are located in rooms with stoves.
According to IGSU, smoke detectors can benefit older people, families with many children or people with disabilities.
Last winter, the campaign provided approximately 2500 homes with anti-smoke installations, and this season, IGSU aims to develop its project more actively in the North, Center and South of the Republic.
