Public acquisition within the Education Directorate will be made by the United Nations Development Program. The decision was taken by the municipality to make the auction process in this area more transparent. Currently, the municipal authorities are negotiating the contract to be concluded with the international organization.

"They come with the fact that they are also writing their notebooks, or that whenever I have spoken at the wheel, they have bought equipment for kindergartens that do not fit in volume, and then we will avoid people on purchases in the Education Directorate, but also the issue of transparency",Ruslan Codreanu, the interim mayor of Chisinau, said.

UNDP will receive remuneration for these services based on the value of the procurement contract. According to Codreanu, the municipality will be able to save money once the project is implemented, as the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), unlike the municipalities managing the town hall, does not pay for the purchase of the equipment.
