An employee of the State Cadastre Service from Cahul and three other persons will be judged for peddling, fraud and making fake documents. The Anti-Corruption prosecutors finished the investigation and sent the case to the court.

According to the prosecutors, they stole the flats of some people and caused them seriously damages.

The authors of the criminal scheme made a fake ID and emitted two fake decisions of Cahul Court of Appeal and gave one of the members of the group the permission to own the flats. Then, they sold the flats.

If found guilty, the public worker accused of peddling risks between 6 and 15 years behind bars and loses the right to work as a public worker between 5 and 15 years.

The other members of the criminal group will be judged for making fake documents. They risk a fine between 550 and 950 contravention units, between 180 and 240 hours of community work or up to 5 year behind bars. Also, they risk between 10 and 15 years behind bars for fraud.
