Publika TV's "Responsible Consumer" Campaign: Fewer Moldovans submit consumer complaints
The number of applications submitted to the Consumer Protection Agency increases year by year. However, many people are no longer complaining to authorities about the cases of abuse, and their reasons are different.
145 Moldovans have complained to the Consumer Protection Agency in 2017 after buying bad quality products.
The case of bad quality food products, it's much more complicated. The Consumer Protection Agency can only inform Food Safety inspectors, the only ones able to come to a conclusion.
Complaints to the Consumer Protection Agency may be filed by mail, phone or at the One Stop Shop.
People who want to submit a petition to the Consumer Protection Agency need to present the tax bill and evidence that they have also filed a complaint with the Complaints Register. Petitions are reviewed within 30 days.
