Recep Erdogan, along with his wife Emine Erdogan came to the Presidency. There, together with Moldovan President Igor Dodon will inaugurate the Presidency building.
After this the two heads of state will plant two trees in the courtyard of the Presidency.
(12:50) Recep Erdogan arrived at Chisinau Airport. The Turkish leader comes for the first time in Moldova and will be in our country on a two-day official visit.
The Turkish President will meet in Chisinau with President Igor Dodon, Prime Minister Pavel Filip and Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu.
During the visit, the Turkish President will take part in the inauguration of the presidential building, which has been repaired and will plant two trees in its yard.
Also, Recep Erdogan will meet with Prime Minister Pavel Filip and the Parliament Speaker, Andrian Candu. Documents on bilateral co-operation will be signed during the meetings.
On Thursday, October 18th, the President of Turkey will pay a visit to Gagauzia for the inauguration of several social goals.
In this context, the police announced increased security measures for today, but also for tomorrow.
According to the head of the DGSP, Marin Maxian, people living or working in areas where security measures will have to be taken must have identity papers or service cards.
