During the summer, the number of Modlovans who go on vacations increased. In this context, the Border police came up with some recommendations for the drivers.

This is what should you do before a journey:

-To verify the condition at the border and the traffic our there;

-If you take some minors with you, you should make sure you have their documents. Starting 2011, the photo and the personal data of the child is not placed in parents' passport and this obliges the parents to change children's documents.  

-In case you have two citizenship, you should present the passport (the Romanian one) and it is recommended to have an ID of Moldova. The Moldovan ID will prove you are a citizens of the Republic of Moldova.

-If you plan to travel with your car, the driver should have the driving license, the matriculation license and the Green Card.

-Starting April 28, 2014, the citizens of the Republic of Moldova, owners of the biometric passports benefit of free visa regime with the EU member countries.

-If some additional questions appear, the traffic participants can call the following number 022 259 717, at any hour.
