Red Union Fenosa requests for electricity fees to drop by 5.5%

RED UNION FENOSA presented to National Agency for Energy Regulation a project to reduce electricity fees by 5.5% starting April 1, wrote IPN.
According to a press release of the institution, the calculations took into account the price of electricity stated in the contracts signed for 2018, the current transportation fees, the basic costs of distribution and supply activity.
As well as the amount of distributed and supplied energy, energy losses in distribution networks registered in 2017, macroeconomic indicators foreseen by authorities.
Consumers using low voltage will have to pay now 187,99 bani/kWh, compared to the current 199 bani/kWh, representing a 5.5% drop.
Those who require medium voltage will now have to pay 170,9 bani/kWh, compared to the current 182 bani/kWh, or by 6.1% less.
The price for high voltage will become 143,85 bani/kWh, compared to the current 153,00 bani/kWh, by 6% less.
The distribution tariff for low voltage will increase to 63,98 bani/kWh, compared to the current 60 bani/kWh, by 6.6% more.
For medium voltage it will be of 21,53 bani/kWh, compared to the current 43 bani/kWh, by 49.9% less. While for high voltage it will be of 12,56 bani/kWh, compared to the 15 bani/kWh, or by 16.3% less.
