Chisinau City Hall plans to apply the road marking, replant flowers in the parks this week. 

Workers started their works on Monday. An area of 20,000 square meters will be painted. 

Upon Silvia Radu's request, priority will be given to pedestrian crossings near schools and kindergartens.

At the same time, the pits were filled in the main streets, and next week the adjoining streets and roads in the courtyard blocks will be repaired.

This week, the City Hall workers planted 180,000 flowers that formed the carpet from the Cathedral Square. Plants will be watered daily, and workers will also use fertilizers to care for flowers.

Violets were purchased from the Netherlands and cost 1.8 million lei. The initiative belongs to the interim Mayor, who wants a Flower Festival to be held in Chisinau in 2019.

According to the municipality, the City Zoo will be closed for visitors for one week. The decision was taken in connection with the repair of the access ways on the territory of the household. It will resume its work on April 30th.
