Thus, on August 28, the pretori together with the employees of the Chisinau Police Department and with the participation of the caring grandparents marked the pedestrian crossings in the adjacent to the educational institutions "Titu Maiorescu", "Mihai Viteazul", "Petru Zadnipru", Primary School "Grigore Vieru", "Gaudeamus", "Dacia" in the sectors they drive, with the following awareness messages for both pedestrians and drivers: Attention School! Hurry up slowly!
At the same time, they came with mobilization messages to the other mayors of the capital to support the initiative of the Police. The action aims to increase the awareness of the population about traffic safety, the reduction of the number of road accidents with the involvement of the pedestrians and the manifestation of care for the citizens.
Through these messages, the Police aims to reduce the number of road accidents involving pedestrians, especially those committed in the vicinity of pedestrian crossings.
