Republic of Moldova and Bosnia and Herzegovina signed common declaration regarding European integraion cooperation
Tudor Ulianovschi and Igor Crnadak signed the common declaration regarding European Integration cooperation, today in Chisinau.
The ministers think that the document will lead to a stronger cooperation through the organization of experience exchange and expertise on European Integration topic. Tudor Ulianovschi and Igor Crnadak mentioned that this declaration demonstrate the commitment of each country to the ontruries' goal of joining the EU, as well as the openness for enhanced co-operation on this path.
"The countries from the South Eastern Europe assumed the target of European Integration. This thing places Moldova and Bosnia and Herzegovina in a favorable context for developing a peer advantageous cooperation. Me and Crnadak minister convened to develop the dialogue between the countries", said Tudor Ulianovschi, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister.
In this context, he informed his colleague that Republic of Moldova will support the taking over of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) by the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency in the summer of this year, and will support the actions and projects promoted by the Government of Sarajevo within the SEECP.
Analyzing the cooperation, the ministers concluded that this is not exploited enough. There is a possibility to strengthen it by providing trade cooperation and attracting of foreign investors. In this context, Ulianovschi reiterated the agreement between the two Governments regarding the administrative assistance in customs sphere, opening Republic of Moldova Consulate in Sarajevo, that will contribute to the developing of economic and commercial relationship between the countries.
At his turn, Igor Crnadak highlighted that Bosnia and Herzegovina is interested in extending the bilateral relationship with Republic of Moldova on all the dimensions, inclusively the European Integration path. "At the very moment, we have signed over 25 cooperation agreements between our countries in such spheres as justice, customs, economy, tourism and so on. We are opened for a cooperation and we will support all the Republic of Moldova initiatives", declared the Bosnia and Herzegovina Foreign Minister.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina invited Todor Ulianovschi to pay a visit to Bosnia și Herțegovina and continue the bilateral dialogue.
