More foreigners are visiting Republic of Moldova. Statistics show that in the first trimester of 2018, 788 000 foreigners have crossed the border, by 12% more than in a similar period of time last year.

Six out of ten foreigners that arrived in Moldova are Romanians. The percentage of Ukraine citizens being of 22, reaching 180 000 people. The list is followed by Russians, Bulgarians and Italians.

Nearly 84% of the tourists that came to Moldova have favored to use their own transport. 15% came by plane and only 1.4% arrived by train.
