Representative of the Republic of Moldova, deputy George Mocanu, participates in the World Investment Forum in Geneva.
At the event, 5,000 delegates from 160 countries discuss global challenges and investments in the era of globalization, digital economy, blockchain technologies and sustainable development, entrepreneurship and migration, transmits MOLDPRES regarding the Communication direction and public relations department of the Parliament.
"Moldova needs to prepare for investments in the future. This is a highly skilled workforce, investment in high-value industries, stimulating the business environment", said deputy George Mocanu at the meeting.
Invitations to the forum take part in several events such as the Global Leaders Investment Summit, Investment in the New Era of Globalization, 2018 United Nations Investment Promotion Awards, Investment & Digital Economy, Sustainable Stock Exchanges, etc.
The UN World Investment Forum has this year's title "Investing in Sustainable Development" and is taking place from 22 to 26 October at the Geneva Palace of the Nations.
The event brings together heads of state and government, ministers, parliamentarians, business leaders and representatives of civil society. The Forum generates strategies and solutions for global challenges in terms of investment and development.
