Republic of Moldova Parliament will host the Parliamentary Meeting between Moldova and Poland
The Republic of Moldova Parliament will host the fifth session of the Parliamentary Meeting of Moldova and Poland. The reunion will take place on July 23, 2018.
The session will be inaugurated by Nae-Simion Plesca, Ryszard Terlecki and Valeriu Ghiletchi, the vice-president of the Parliament.
The officials will debate such topics as: the implementation of the Association Agreement with the EU, the Poland experience on this field, the Poland financial assistance, the inter-parliamentary cooperation and the "Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine: Eastern Partnership - security challenges" inter-parliamentary conference.
After discussions, the officials will sign the common declaration of the Parliamentary Meeting of Moldova and Poland. Then, the co-presidents of the meeting, Nae-Simion Pleșca and Ryszard Terlecki will hold a common press conference.
According to the program, the Poland delegation will held meetings with Andrian Candu, the President of the Parliament, the representatives of the business field and so on.
Among the Poland officials there will be: Ryszard Terlecki, Republicii Polone, Andrzej Halicki, Wojciech Bakun, Jerzy Polaczek, Monika Rosa, Marek Pek and Waldemar Bonkowski.
The Parliamentary Meeting between Moldova and Poland is an interparliamentary consultative body set up to develop common points of view on projects that are an object of bilateral interest, especially in the context of the process of Moldova's association with the EU. The Assembly meets in plenary sessions, convened once a year, alternately in the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Moldova. The last meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly took place in Warsaw on 8-10 October 2017.
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Poland was established in July 2011 in Chisinau.
