In Bender town, the Control Commission met at a session leaded by Republic of Moldova delegation.

Within the session, at the proposal of Chisinau delegation, the Commission confirmed as Standing Expert Mr. Ion Stăvilă, Ambassador with Special Missions, within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova.

At the same time, the Commission heard and approved the weekly report on the situation in the Security Zone presented by the Joint Military Command.

The head of the Russian Federation delegation, Ilia Uvarov, informed the Unified Control Commission's members of the need for further consultations on the subject of the reopening of the bridge near Gura Bâcului and Bacioc on 18 November 2017.

The next meeting of the Joint Control Commission will take place on 8 February 2018.
