After they have been working for dozens of years, the retired can enjoy a peaceful old age. It is about the retired whose pensions were indexed. Among them there is Emil Volconovici aged of 69 from Plopi village, Donduseni district. He was a doctor for more than 40 years. However, the man continues to work, because the district suffers of luck of doctors.

"I was the chief of the psychiatry department from Plop village, then I was deputy chief doctor at the district hospital, director of the family doctors. Now, I am retired", mentioned Emil Volconovici, retired.

The man says that at the beginning his pension was very small, but it was indexed by the time. 

"Now, my pension is double comparing to the one I was receiving at the beginning. I am glad that now I can receive a higher pension", said Emil Volconovici.

Tatiana Vozian was a French teacher, now she is retired.

"Now, my pension is higher. I think it is a very good step of the Government."

Approximately, 50 thousand people who got retired between 2012 and 2013 receive higher pensions. Also, Starting October 1, the ones who got retired between 2014 and 2017 will also benefit of higher pensions.
