Rezina District Hospital will be equipped with modern medical equipment, with support of Japan
Rezina District Hospital will benefit from modern medical equipment, thanks to the non-reimbursable financial assistance provided by the Japanese Government within the KUSANONE project.
Today, February 28, the contract for the purchase of medical equipment was signed, namely: echocardiograph, anesthesia machine and three analyzers, amounting to 78,690 dollars.
"Today we sign the 40th project with the Government of Japan. All the projects implemented so far have substantially contributed to strengthening the capacities of secondary and tertiary health institutions, as well as to increasing the quality of medical services provided to the population. I express my gratitude to the people of Japan for continuous support and congratulate the population of Rezina district, because they will benefit from medical services in their district", said MSMPS State Secretary Viorica Dumbraveanu.
In turn, Japan's Ambassador to Moldova, Masanobu Yoshii, said that the purpose of investment in our country is to increase the quality of life for the population.
"The Kusanone program is becoming increasingly well-known and accessed in the fields of health and education. I am glad that all the project-beneficiary institutions use the purchased equipment and people are satisfied with the services they provide", said Masonobu Yoshii.
We mention that the healthcare sector of the Republic of Moldova benefits from assistance from the "Kusanone" Program in 2008, until now 39 projects have been implemented in a total amount of USD 3.202.022, contributing to the strengthening of the capacities of the medical institutions by purchasing the necessary medical equipment.
