Students from Comrat State University received a gift of 400 Romanian books from Romanian Ambassador to Chisinau, Daniel Ioniţă at a meeting with students.
During the talks, the Ambassador spoke about history of Romania and supports given to the Republic of Moldova from the neighboring country.
"We talked with students about priorities of Romanian EU Council Presidency. It's very important that everyone in Găgăuză autonomy speak Romanian. It offers people chances to get better jobs, preserve their identity, have access to various culture", said Romanian Ambassador to Chisinau Daniel Ioniţă.
During the visit Daniel Ioniţă also met with the authorities in Comrat and had a meeting with the Gagauz Governor Irina Vlah.
