Romanian specialists arrive at crash locale. Romanian premier thanks Moldovan counterpart
A Romanian investigation team reached the place of the helicopter crash near Haragâş village of Cantemir district this morning. Romanian and Moldovan experts search the cause leading to their aircraft accident.
Romanian prim-minister Dacian Cioloş said in a statement:
"Two teams from the Interior Ministry and a prosecutor reached the locale and started working with Moldovan colleagues. A protocol was signed between the General Prosecutor’s Offices from Romania and Moldova allowing the Romanian specialists to participate into the inquest, not only to assist. I understand the Moldovan authorities won’t object if the Romanian side takes over the inquest."
Dacian Ciolos has thanked premier Pavel Filip: "I would like to thank prime-minister Filip for the exemplary way the Moldovan authorities mobilized themselves, at least till this very moment, to help us and solve and clarify the circumstances the accident took place in.”
