Taking into consideration the recent evolution of the events from the Republic of Moldova, inclusively the formation of a new government, Romania, as a partner of Moldova considers that the final decision should be taken by the Republic of Moldova citizens at the snap elections.

Romania showed their availability to continue the strategic partnership for the European Integration of the Republic of Moldova. They support our association agreement.

Also, Romania considers that the cooperation projects with Romania are very important.

At the same time, they appreciate the efforts of Moldova to solve the transnistrean conflict and the integrity of our country.

Romania highlighted the importance to strengthen our history, language and the special relationship with Moldova.

Romania reiterates the respect of the state of law requirements and the steps that the Moldovan authorities should take in order to avoid the crisis.
