Romania's prime minister says citizens will soon be able to pay taxes and fees online
Starting this fall, Romanian citizens will be able to pay their taxes and fees online, Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos announced on Facebook.
The Government will acquire banking service for online payments, and the notice was posted yesterday on the Electronic System for Public Procurement SEAP.
“This is an important step for the simplification and de-bureaucratization of the relationship between taxpayers and administration,” said Ciolos.
Paying by card is currently possible at the Tax Agency offices in nine counties, Romania Insider reports.
