Roughly 820 million lei allocated for current repairs and traffic security
The maintenance and repair of national roads will cost over 970 million lei. The funds distribution programs were approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
More than 820 million lei will be allocated for current repairs and traffic safety. Another roughly 150 million will go to the reconstruction of the roads, including the completion of the works on the ring road of Ungheni.
Management and monitoring of electronic vignette systems will also be purchased. The financing of the renovation works of the national public roads will be made from the Road Fund.
Previously, the leader of the Democratic Party, Vlad Plahotniuc, announced that the roads in over 1200 localities in the country will be renovated.
For this, 1.6 billion lei will be allocated from the state budget.
