The general interim of the Capital, Ruslan Codreanu, asked the line departments of the City Hall to make public the information regarding the Capital investments in public money for schools and kindergartens' repairs, in the last 5 years. At the same time, the he urged the officials to constantly check the quality of the work that was done.

During a meeting with the representatives of sector education departments, the Capital Construction Directorate and the Finance Department, Ruslan Codreanu expressed his disappointment with the bad quality repairs carried out at the educational institutions and the social-cultural objectives paid from the municipal budget, but also on the processes planning.

"I am unhappy with the fact that in the recent years inefficient tens of millions of lei have been invested in the construction and the Capital repairs. We have cases when hundreds of thousands of lei were invested in the repair of the rooms, while the roof flows and the investments they went to the rain water, alone.

There are cases when millions are being invested in construction that must be demolished for technical reasons. Every taxpayer's money needs to be invested efficiently, with emphasis on quality, not on the chances of someone's profit", Chisinau interim Ruslan Codreanu said.

The measures taken by the mayor of Chisinau come as a result of the visits made during the week to the educational institutions, as well as to the Placement Center on Ispat Soroceanu Street, where irregularities and serious deviations were found in the repair works.
