Group "Kalashnikov", a subsidiary of state-owned company "Rostech", recently unveiled the new armored truck that police forces will use to manage crowds in case of protests, writes Digi24.ro.
The main feature of the vehicle is the huge metal wall mounted in the front of the armored cabin. Also, the truck is equipped with a water cannon.
The metal wall is provided with rectangular holes for the use of firearms.
The vehicle chassis is developed by the Russian brand from Tatarstan - KAMAZ.
"Multifunctional protection systems and other police equipment are currently being developed in many countries around the world. In addition to this defense complex, we are also working on introducing design solutions for armed vehicles for the domestic market as well for export purposes, "said Alexei Krivoruchko, director of the group Kalasnikov.
