A Russian military man was detained of Chisinau International Airport and banished from the country for 15 years.

The information was confirmed for Publika TV by the Chief of Border Police, Fredolin Lecari. According to him, the colonel Radislav Sabirov was banished from Moldova for national security reasons.

According to deschide.md, Sabirov fought on the side of transnistrian separatists in the war in 1992. Now he is a part of the quick reaction troops “Sobr” of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tatarstan.

The portal Novosti PMR writes that the military man went to Tiraspol in a private visit and attended the festivities dedicated to the day of Bender. On the site of Sevciuk administration is noted that the Transnistrian leader personally invited Sabirov in Transnistria, as a guest of honor.
