Safe house, safe life. Over 1 000 smoke detectors installed in Moldova

In over than 1 000 families from the country, there were installed smoke detectors. The IGSU employees installed the detectors in Soroca, Edineț, Căușeni, Călărași, Briceni, Florești, Ungheni, Taraclia, Comrat, Cahul and Chisinau. The majority of the beneficiaries there are the young families and the old persons.
The MAI campaign targets to prevent the fire and carbon monoxide poisoning. According to IGSU data, starting 2018, there were 31 cases of carbon monoxide poisoning, that caused 60 injured people, among which, 20 children. Of the total number of the poisoned, there were seven deaths.
PUBLIKA.MD reminds that the smoke detectors were installed after Vlad Plahotniuc, the PDM leader asked the IGSU to implement concrete actions that would prevent fire and smoke poisoning.
