Over 36 thousand teachers have a salary of at least 6 700 lei due to the salaries' reform.

At the same time, the salaries of the teachers with a higher than three years experience increased by 1500 lei. Angela Dominte is a teacher in Budesti village. Before the implementation of the reform, her salary was 3 200 lei, now it is two thousands more. 

"My son is getting married this year, so we have to gather money", said Angela Dominte, teacher.

"We are happy about this change", said Parascovia Stadnitchi, Romanian language teacher.

The director of Young Center from Budesti appreciated the reform.

"The financial raise is very high. If the salary was around three thousands before, now it is over six thousands", declared Maricica Proca, the director of Budesti Young Center.

The reform of the salaries between 2019 and 2021 needs 3,9 billion lei to be allocated. By 2021 the salary will raise by 55%.

The indexation of the salaries has been realized within "Good salaries for Moldova" reform launched by the Democratic Party of Moldova.
