A scorching heat wave will continue to impact much of Moldova the next few days. Meteorologists announce that, in the coming days, thermometers will indicate up to 36 degrees. To cope with the heat, the capital's inhabitants go to the swimming pools and drink more water.
Doctors warn that high temperatures are especially dangerous for the elderly and children.
According to the hydrometeorological service, the hottest day of this year was recorded on July 2, in the south of Moldova. Up to 44 degrees were forecast.
