None of the candidates to run for mayor gained enough votes to win the elections. Thus, the second round will be organized in two weeks. 

The candidates who passed in the second round are Ion Ceban, the PSRM candidate and Andrei Nastase, the PPDA candidate.

According to the Election Code, the winner will be the candidate who will gain the majority of the votes.

In case they will have a equal number of votes, the winner will be the one who has more votes in the first round.
