The "Doctor for You" campaign expands.  

Since February, 35 oncologists check the state of health of the country's population. According to the program, on February 18-22, teams of oncologists will offer free consultations to the residents of the villages in Straseni district.

"Cancer is one of the most serious problems faced by the medical system and the whole society. Prevention, early diagnosis and timely treatment are essential measures to reduce cancer and mortality due to this disease. -we proposed to expand the "Doctor for You" campaign with teams of oncologists from different fields who will consult the population in rural areas where there is a higher proportion of cancer patients to detect the disease in early stages, and educate the population on the prevention of cancer", said State Secretary General Boris Galca.

Meanwhile, teams of endocrinologists, ophthalmologists, otorhinolaryngologists, neurologists and cardiologists will consult with Health Centers in Zubresti, Micauti, Micleuseni and Codreanca this week.

Also during the current week, the children from Codreanca, Greblesti and Recea villages will be consulted free of charge by the mobile dental team.

At the same time, women in rural areas in Straseni, Nisporeni and Cimislia district will benefit from breast screening services.

The "A Doctor for You" campaign was launched at the initiative and with the support of Prime Minister Pavel Filip.
