Sewerage project stopped because of lack of money
They promised people water and sewerage, but they can't finish the projects because of the lack of money.
In this situation, there are the National Ecologic Fund that assumed to support some projects whose value is up to the budget of the institution.
The construction that already started in many villages from the contry were stopped and thousands people are dissatisfied, after they contributed with money too.
'' Now, at the National Ecologic Fund, there are up to 345 active projects since 2013 till 2017. For their finalization, the institution needs 2,4 milliard lei'', said Ion Apostol, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture.
The members of the Parliamentary Commission of the Surrounding said they need at least seven years to cover all the costs.
Despite the financial problems, the institution still accepts the requests.
''Today, we have 333 new requests. But, according to the law, we don't have the right to accept more projects.''
In the same situation there are the citizens of Selistea Noua and Tuzara from Calarasi district.
Five years ago, there started the construction works of a sewerage worth 6 million lei.
People from the village contributed with one thousand lei each. Totally, they gathered 140 thousand lei.
In 2015, the construction was blocked, because the Ecology Fund didn't approve the funding of the next step of the program. The consequences are serious.
''Now, the majority of the people from the village have washing machines, bathrooms, cesspools'', said Ludmila Gurghelea, the secretary of the Local Council from Tuzara village
''We paid like everybody did. We didn't want to wait till they will make it, so we did it bu ourselves.''
''I have my own sewerage. At every half of a year I clean the car. Every wash costs me 400-500 lei.''
According to the spokesmen, a solution for this situation would be a collaboration between the Ecologic Fund and the Regional Development Department.
