Sledding - too expensive for Moldovans
The sledding sample is a prestigious sport, but it is an expensive kind of sport, especially for Moldovans.
Even if the International Federation lot Moldovan specialists offer 7,500 euros for a competitive season and regularly donates equipment, national court officials often argue that the costs are much higher.
A set of equipment costs on average more than a thousand euros. The cost of performance sleds up to 20,000 euros.
Moldovan athletes can not afford such sleds and have to train and participate in competitions with the ones donated from the International Federation.
According to court officials national profile, the performance in this sport depends greatly on the quality of the sled.
Athletes need a lot of preparation. International Federation comes to the rescue in such cases, as happened in training camp last fall.
