Sleeping on street to get Romanian scholarship
Some Moldovan students sleep on streets near the offices quartering the committees whose voice is decisive in granting them a scholarship in Romania.
As those committees start working at 9:30 a.m., the young people form lengthy queues and wait all the night long for their turn.
They want a Romanian diploma believing it offers them more possibilities. The parents’ emotions run high as well: they want their children study in an EU country.
The admission applications may be submitted in Chisinau, Balti and Cahul.
