SMURD chopper, crashed in Cantemir, was assured by Omniasig. Even though it is not yet known the total recovery, estimation can be done.

After a similar tragedy in 2014, Omniasig has covered the damages in total amount of 5,5 mln euro, writes digi24.ro.

SMURD choppers are assured by a more complex insurance policy for all aircrafts from within the Aviation General Inspectorate of Ministry of Interior.

As a gloomy coincidence, Omniasig has covered the damages both in the air crash in Apuseni in 2014, and in the car accident in Montenegro in 2013.

In the case of the accident in Montenegro, the damages have reached 4,2 mln euro.
