The SMURD rescuers and paramedics have carried out 70 interventions from the beginning of the year.

Most often, people needed their help in cases of traumas but also to take people with severe illnesses to hospital.

For example, a 66-year-old woman from Bălți had to be transported to a Chisinau hospital and while doing so she was connected to artificial respiration devices.

Only the last 24 hours, the SMURD teams from the north and the south of the country were called to intervene in 13 risk-implying situations.
