Socialist Party is celebrating after an European Party asked for revision of EU Association Agreement with Moldova
The Socialists are delighted that the European People's Party (EPP) demands a revision of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement.
On Facebook post, Igor Ceban, the president's spokesman, is pleased with the EPP's intention to stop EU funding for Moldova.
"We welcome the decision of the EPP to stop EU funding for Moldovan government. Such a fast approach to early parliamentary elections, exactly what the people of the Republic of Moldova want.
P.S. And yes ... the agreement revision with the EU needs to be done. If the Europeans initiate it, perfect", socialist Ion Ceban wrote.
PUBLIKA recall that EPP President Joseph Daul urged the European Commission to stop any funding for Moldova and reassess the Association Agreement with the EU after the Chisinau authorities had voted for the electoral system modification - a change desired by the majority of Moldovan citizens.
