Spanish company of engineering interested to invest in energy field of Moldova

The Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Chiril Gaburici, discussed with the representatives of one of the largest engineering companies from Spain - Empresarios Agrupados SA, which is willing to invest in the Moldovan energy sector. The sidesdiscussed the possibility of producing and delivering electric power and thermal energy, taking into account the needs and possibilities offered by our country.
Chiril Gaburici thanked the representatives of the Spanish concern for the interest to invest in the energy sector, stressing that ensuring the energy security of the Republic of Moldova is a priority of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure. "The energy sector is very important for us.
For now, we have no independence at this chapter. Your interest coincides with our priorities. Given that it is a strategic sector for the Republic of Moldova, we need to act fairly and transparently at every stage", stressed the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure.
For his part, Francisco Sendrero, the president of Aglomancha Empresa Constructora company, the representative of Empresarios Agrupados said that their experts have studied the possibilities our country has for the development of the energy sector and the company is interested in investing in this sector. "We are willing to invest over 150 million Euro in the engineering and development of the infrastructure needed to produce and deliver electricity and heat", said Francisco Sendrero.
The Spanish company was founded in 1971 and provides consultancy in electrical engineering, electronics and telecommunication. It has also developed energy projects in several countries, including Spain, France and the UK.
