Spanish media: "Moldova is the country offering numerous business opportunities"
"Republic of Moldova is the country that offers many business opportunities in the infrastructure sector. Moreover, it is an attractive market thanks to small costs for the business initiation and tax incentives." These are the words written by one of the biggest Spanish newspapers on economics, newspaper Expancion.
According to journalists from the Spanish newspaper, Moldova is the country that "offers business opportunities in infrastructure and transport fields, which need to be modernized in order to improve the services and its connections with neighboring countries.
Small and middle companies that want to establish in Moldova have all the reasons to invest in this market. It is a country on the way to enter the European Union and its economy is stable.
Even though it is not a part of EU, the investors who will come to Moldova may take advantage of free-exchange agreement with Community of Independent States (CIS), that comprises the ex-soviet republics, with the exception of the Baltic countries, Turkmenistan, Georgia, and South-east of Europe".
"To practice a business in the country is not that difficult: Moldova is placed on 52nd place from 189 states, included in the classification Doing Business 2016, done by the World Bank. Moreover, the installation costs are reduced, the work force, other than the qualified one, is cheap. The capital of a limited liability company, the most often used legal form, is 340 euro, and the average pay is between 200 and 250 euro" says the publication.
The journalists mention that, in order to register a company, to the State Register Chamber have to be presented the documents containing: the name of the company, information on founders, activity, legal address. Once registered, it is issued the certificate with the number of the tax identification number, with which the company can open a temporary bank account where it will have to put at least 40 % if the social capital. The rest of 60% will be paid during the next six months from the start of the business.
There are also incentives of investments exceeding 220,000 euro. Fiscally, Moldova is a very attractive market, because the profit tax is only 12%, in comparison with 25%, that are needed to be paid by the companies from Spain. For farmers, the tax is reduced to 7%.
The journalists from Expancion say that Moldovan entrepreneurs are close people and can be easily approached, thus the negotiations are open and simple. “Same as their Romanian neighbors, they like to act in a firm form, and each contradiction may cause suspicion in the partner” writes the publication.
