State Budget for 2018 in Moldova ratified. Programs that gained more finances

Government has approves today changes and amendments in the State Budget for 2018. The document foresees a major change in increasing the revenues of the national public budget by 963.9 million lei, expenses by 1 312.5 million lei, while budget deficit will raise by 348.6 million lei.
At the State Budget, the revenues and expenses are increased by 303.5 million lei and 652.1 million lei, the increase of the deficit totaling to the state budget.
Most expenses were increased for the Program of national road repair works - 800 million lei, developing common emergency telephone number, 112 - 63.6 million lei, rehabilitation of electricity networks - 61.2 million lei, project for the acquisition locomotives and reconstruction of railway infrastructure - 53.2 million lei, increasing the financial provision for children / pupils starting September 1, 2018 - 51.2 million lei.
Supplementary finances of over 32 million lei will also be allocated for the consolidation of the National Integrity Authority, Service for Preventing and Combating Money Laundering, Crime Assets Recovery Agency of the National Anticorruption Center, to cover the expenses of the Electoral Commission for local elections.
Those also includes finalizing the terms for receiving the first tranche of EU macro-financial assistance.
Expenditure on social benefits will also raised by 16.7 million lei, due to the incenses of the financial aids and payment of the indemnities for termination of employment.
At the same time, the increased revenues to the state budget were determined by the economic growth rate, increase of foreign trade, and increase of the average monthly salary. Compared to the approved budget, an increase in OSR is estimated, mainly from taxes.
Therefore, the revised state budget parameters for 2018 are: revenue - 36 billion 922 million lei, expenses - 41 billion 984.5 million lei, budget deficit - 5 billion 62.5 million lei.
