State Budget for 2019 was voted in final reading by Parliament
The Draft Law on the State Budget for 2019 was voted on today's Parliament.
The revenues of the state budget for 2019 are expected to be in the total amount of 42,125.55 million MDL, with an increase compared to the one mentioned, currently by 5,203.5 million lei or 14.1%. 88.6 percent of revenues come from taxes and duties, with an increase of 12.6% compared to the current year. The grants for budget support and for the projects financed from external sources are forecast in the amount of 1 960,2 million lei. Other revenues will amount to 6.7%.
The expenditures of the state budget for 2019 are expected to amount to MDL 47,664.2 million, an increase of MDL 5,679.7 million or 13.5% compared to the projected expenditures for 2018. They are determined by the need financial assurance of branch priorities, according to national and sectoral policy documents.
Thus, the financial means will be directed to the Road Fund, including the National Public Road Repair Program, the National Fund for Agricultural and Rural Development, the Energy Efficiency Fund, the National Environmental Fund, the National Fund for Regional Development, the Population Support Fund and the Fund of Wine and Wine.
Allowances increases are provided for social protection - 2207.0 million MDL or 29.9% more than in the current year, for services in the economy - 737.2 million lei or by 9.9% more than 2018, for education - 647,2 million MDL or by 6,5% more than the current year.
The budget deficit is estimated at 5,538.7 million MDL and is to be financed from both external and internal sources.
According to estimates, the state debt balance at 31 December 2019 will not exceed MDL 63 011.5 million, of which 59.1% was external state debt and 40.9% domestic state debt, recording an increase of 6 035, 0 million lei compared to the end of 2018.
According to the authors, the forecast for the economic development and the objectives of fiscal and customs policy for 2019 stood at the base of the draft budget. The macroeconomic forecast predicts that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in real terms compared to 2018 will increase by 4.0%.
According to estimates, in the year 2019, the national public budget revenues will grow by 9.4% compared to the current year, spending - by 9.7%, the budget deficit reaching 2.7% of GDP versus 2,6% this year.
At the same time, exports will increase in the year 2019 by about 13.1% and imports by 9.4%. The labor remuneration fund will increase in nominal terms by 9.4%.
The Draft Law on the State Budget for 2019 was voted in final reading by 58 deputies of those present at the meeting.
