Searches at the State Fiscal Service. The officers of the Anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office and the ones of the SIS investigate the bureaus of the institutions. 

(11:30) The information was confirmed by the press officer of the PCCOCS who said that this is about a bribery file.

(UPDATE 13:27) An inspector of the Fiscal direction within the State Fiscal Service was detained.

(UPDATE 15:36) According to the evidences, between February and March 2017, the IFS employees took bribery worth 180 000 lei from two economic agents in exchange of accepting the request to IFS regarding TVA refund.

Then the IFS employees took bribery worth 70 000 lei from a man for investigating the activity of the companies administrated by him.

There are six suspects in the criminal file, among whom a person is announced in search. The author of the crime was detained for 72 hours, he is suspected of passive bribery and risks between 5 and 10 years behind bars, but also a fine worth 6 000 or 8 000 contravention units.

Within the ten searches, the CNA and SIS officers evolved searches at the suspects' homes.
